torus v0.5
After playing a little bit with the torus program that hasn't fallen into the oblivion for now, I decided to render it using the Kitty Graphics Protocol that also my terminal supports. If you don't pay too much attention like me at first, you could think of sending raw pixel data encoded in plain ASCII. Well, no too easy hehe. You must send base64 encoded images (RGB, RGBA, PNG). -
torus
This summer I'm taking Computer Graphics @ Stanford and I thought: "why not implementing a rotating torus in the terminal in C?". I know, this might sound a bit amarcod but, after writing a ray-tracer in Python that actually runs in Blender, doing some very simple things from scratch with no dependecies feels relaxing. I felt I had so many concepts in mind and just wanted to express some of them. -
.md to .html compiler
I'm new to Rust and thought that a very pratical way to get in touch with it was writing something. I've thought of writing my own .md to .html compiler for for a while. So here we are, both my micro-blog and my project have come to life. Before even thinking of writing it, I was using Hugo. It was really nice, but you know, sometimes it's just too much, I just wanted a very simple thing, not taking a lifetime choosing a theme and other stuff, or maybe as a SWE I thought I could just build it myself, and after 12-13 hours of my not really spare time I came eventually with something. -
HPSR2026
This June I attended HPSR2026 (High Performance Switching and Routing) in Montreal, Canada. It was a really great experience in the foggy and cloudy Montreal. I was surprised by the fact that the conference followed a single-track format. Basically I didn't have to choose between parallel sessions, and I had to attend every presentation. This made it way easier for me to discover new topics, perspectives. You might expect a telco conference about switches and routers to have little in common with hot topics like AI. Well, that could be not further from the truth: AI ~devastated this field as well~ I'm joking. Instead, I discovered the beauty of data center networks, (always seen optical switches as something too far from my interests, these words didn't have a shape before), and how network architectures are becoming increasingly aware of GenAI models and task serving. -
WCNC2026
This April I presented at WCNC (Wireless Communications and Networking Conference) in Kuala Lumpur. It has been my first time in Asia and my first experience as a session chair. I also presented my paper "Incremental Vision Transformers for Zero-Day Attack Detection in NextG Wireless Networks" -
EEAI2025
This October I attended EEAI2025 (European Conference on EDGE AI Technologies and Applications) in Naples. I took this as an opportunity to visit my granparents and relatives (my parents are from Naples), ~(technically from Caserta, and someone from Caserta would hate being referred to as someone from Naples. You know, grotesque tribalism is really a thing for Italians)~, I hadn't seem them in a while, I always pretend to be too busy with uni, work and research.
